Two Erasmus+ policy experimentation projects, EVIDALI and DATA-READY, have announced a new collaboration to strengthen data literacy in education across Europe.
Both initiatives share a common goal: empowering schools, teachers, and policymakers to harness data effectively for teaching and learning.
This collaboration brings together complementary approaches—EVIDALI focuses on mapping national strategies and supporting evidence-informed policy design, while DATA-READY develops a structured framework for integrating data literacy into compulsory education curricula.
The collaboration will enable knowledge exchange and joint dissemination of findings, ensuring that insights from policy analysis and classroom practice inform future strategies.
EVIDALI’s work on teacher needs analysis and teacher training through a multilingual MOOC will complement DATA-READY’s efforts to create a European Data Literacy Skills Framework and professional development programs for educators.
By aligning these activities, the projects aim to accelerate progress toward a coherent, future-ready approach to data literacy in schools.
